An Organization Changes My Character

I was known as quite person since I was in elementary school until senior high school. But when I became a student in faculty of languages and art, an organization in faculty makes me more active, be responsible and be confidence.

It was started in 2013, when I joined an organization in faculty of languages and art. Since then, I became more active in many events that held in faculty such as AKM, social-gathering, so forth. I always became committee in those events. I actively did my job and coordinated it to other committees. As committee, I also attended every meeting that was conducted by the core committee. Even, in big events like AKM (Ajang Kreativitas Mahasiswa) / Students Creativity Site and Social-Gathering, I’ve participated as performer. I performed a drama with all of my friends in theater.

When I became committee. I had my own task (Job Descriptions). It made me be more responsible. When the core committee gave me the list of job descriptions, I made a list of what I should do first. It aimed to make me easier doing my task. Then, in my spare time, like Saturday and Sunday, I prepared it, because some of my tasks were preparing tools and equipment that  were needed in that event. When the event came, I must be responsible for my job. If I should do it, I would do it.

When the event has ended. The core committee invited all committees to attend the meeting to evaluate the event. In this meeting, I got some things that made me confident to talk in front of them. I felt happy talking to the people in organization as they smiled at me. It made me feel confidence to report my job. The other side, being coordinator also required me to report my job. I believe, day by day, I will feel more confident in being committee; I also had a friend who always supported me to report my work. Finally, I confidently talked to them.

Actually, an organization in faculty changed my character. When I was known as quite person since I was in elementary school till senior high school and now I was known as active student. I also being more responsible and confident, because of the job that I got from becoming a committee.
